Needles & Pins is led by Reinet van Schalkwyk, an experienced seamstress with a lifelong passion for sewing. From assisting her mother with sewing projects at a young age to completing formal training in garment design and pattern work, Reinet has built her expertise through years of hands-on practice.

Specializing in alterations rather than mass production, Needles & Pins focuses on improving fit, refining garments, and creating practical textile solutions. Each project reflects a deep understanding of fabric, form, and function.
